We are extremely proud of outcomes for the pupils who took the last national benchmarking tests at the end of 2021 - 2022. These outcomes demonstrate the success of the teaching and learning practices during and post the pandemic. They are testament to the consistency of teaching and high standards which are observed throughout the school.

Good Level of Development (GLD) for 2022 = 76.9% (Local Authority 69.1)
Average Points Score = 32.6 (Local Authority 31.7)
The school continues to remain above the Local Authority Average for GLD and Average Points and this was the case for the 3 years pre-pandemic.
Phonics
83.1% of children in Year 1 passed this screening (National = 81.9%)
All bar 1 child passed the phonics screening in Key Stage 1 (Year 2 2021 – 2022)
The school continues to have a Year 1 Phonics Pass Rate above the Local Authority Average (79%) and this was the case for the 3 academic years pre-pandemic.
The school has a KS1 Phonics Pass Rate above the Local Authority average for 2022 and for the 3 academic years (100% pass) pre-pandemic.

These figures were significantly above the Average for the Local Authority (54.8% Expected Standard and 4.7% Greater Depth)
This maintains the schools performance in RWM for the 3 year period before the pandemic.
The figure for Greater Depth standard was significantly higher for the school than before the pandemic – highlights the focus on deepening understanding across the curriculum.
Reading 2022 - 84.2% Expected, 42.1% Greater Depth, Average Scaled Score 107 Progress Score: - 0.9
These figures were consistent with the outcomes for the pre pandemic cohort of 2019.
The school continues to be above the Local Authority Average (72.1% Expected Standard and 24.7% Greater Depth) and was for the 3 years pre pandemic.
The progress for the school was above the Local Authority Average (-1.0) and was the 3 academic years pre pandemic (Average +2.1)

These figures were consistent with the expected standard outcomes for the pre pandemic cohort of 2019. There was a significant increase in the number of children achieving Greater Depth Standard.
